About – Sa Dha Arts – Indian Classical Arts

Sa Dha Arts has been formed for the promotion, preservation and dissemination of Indian Classical Arts in the UK. We offer a learning experience through classical and timeless methods.

These arts develop self-discipline and are recognised as ’embodied practices’, bringing the mind and body to work together. By training in these systems one can develop focus and adapt instinctively when navigating through obstacles or adversity.

Sa Dha Arts offer courses in Kathak, Hindustani Vocal and Tabla. We have classes for all levels and diploma courses recognised by Pracheen Kala Kendra Music Institute, India.

In order to encourage our first generation of London based advanced students to continue their musical journey together, Sa dha Arts provides platforms for performance as well as an environment in which they can help teach,share music and practice.

Our concerts range from providing inexperienced students with a chance to perform, giving upcoming artists a professional platform and presenting some of the most renowned exponents in the world.

Sa Dha Arts is a registered charity (# 1171336) and is based on the social and cultural learning structure that has kept Indian Classical Music alive for so many centuries.

Our Inspiration

Our gurus’ acquired knowledge stems from stalwarts of great Indian classical lineages. Without the history and the development of those practices and teachings, the flow of arts our Gurus share with us today simply would not exist. We offer our deepest respect to our ‘musical forefathers’ and hope we can keep their spirit in our work.
